In case you missed it, we recently featured 2 tshirts released in Threadless‘ new Causes category. Threadless Causes uses community-based design for the power of good, giving artists more opportunities to design cool things for meaningful organizations. The first two tshirts were to benefit the relief efforts of the recent disasters in Japan and New Zealand. That was a month ago and now the designers of those two tshirts have done video interviews concerning the causes and their tshirts.

Threadless will donate 100% of net proceeds from the sale of each Japan relief tee to The American Red Cross’s Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami fund. The chosen design, Rebuild Japan, is available at Threadless now. Watch as Threadless’ Joe Van Wetering (in Chicago) chats with the designer of Rebuild Japan Jason Yang (in Oklahoma) via Skype.
Video #2 – New Zealand

It’s been almost exactly a month since the earthquake devastated Christchurch, New Zealand. Threadless released a relief tshirt, it’s not only an awesome design, but its also made by a New Zealander! We’re donating 25% from the sale of this tee to Architecture for Humanity’s efforts to rebuild the city of Christchurch. Watch as Threadless’ Joe Van Wetering (Chicago) chats it up with David Creighton-Pester (New Zealand) via Skype.
