Michael Gitter is the founder of DoYouRememberTees. He was born and raised on Long Island but by his early teens was dancing on speakers in some of Manhattan’s most notorious 1970’s club. He has fond memories of parting until dawn at Infinity, a club on lower Broadway, and then meeting his father, whose office was right next door, for a sunrise breakfast. Michael’s passion for, and insider’s knowledge of the nightlife scene led him to create Gitter’s Guide, a series of 24-hour and late night guides, published by Simon& Schuster.
