With Sci-fi Tees like these, Who needs pants? – ChopShop

by on Sep 06, 2013

The Chopping Block is a Brooklyn based design studio in business since 1995. The minds behind The Chopping Block are proud to introduce it’s evil prodigy, Chop Shop! From obscure sci-fi references to clever type designs, see what your next sparkplug fashion looks like.

In today post I’ll present 4 t-shirts representing 4 lines.

The first one is weRobot — represents the Sci-Fi tees. Icons of famous characters from either genre. They have executed tees themed with robots, undead, aliens, apes/monkeys, vehicles, vampires, monsters & weapons. This particular tee started it all for the guys over at Chop Shop. 51 different robots from film, television, video games, books, toys and one even from a famous classic rock album. I even have a dare for you: Can you recognize them all?

So now that we shared Chop Shop’s main 4 lines of t-shirts let’s talk about their first Kickstarter Campaign –  An illustrated map of America populated with the legendary events and characters from popular science-fiction, horror and fantasy.

Their Goal?

They are asking for your help to release this project from the confines of our computer screens to a fine art product that you can touch and hang upon your wall. They have many of the references illustrated already, but our secondary goal is to have YOU help to improve upon the references they already have in some areas .
Take a look!

In conclusion : Chop Shop or don’t shop at all!
