One For The Wall is a new t-shirt brand which focuses on some rather tasty hand-drawn designs. One for the Wall was founded by one talented Fred Wordie. According to him he’s not very good with words, but when it comes to designing he’s one of the best. He is a student who just left school and is going to University to study Product Design. He studied Art for A level and have loved creating stuff for as long as he can remember.

[interview email=”frederickwordie@gmail.com” text=”During the countless hours of revision I was meant to be doing for my A Level exams, I decided to doodle instead (silly old me), and the designs you see before you are the result of this. Firstly, they are all drawn in Sharpie pen, then I upload them to my crummy old laptop and vectorize them on Illustrator. I then colour them with a secret recipe of pastel colors. These often odd designs are then printed in high quality (in fabric DTG) on sublime, soft style T-shirts at a little printing studio in lovely Loughborough.”]
Fred founded his collection with Kickstarter, I won’t bother to explain how this works, because we had lots of t-shirt brands here on Teehunter which had help with Kickstarter. The project was a success.
Hand-drawn designs – Portofolio
Black or colored? Either way, you have both options!
One for the Wall is now selling through out their new website and also does postcards and the real drawings. The drawings are all stylised and Fred feels are quite different from the Norm. They are quite organic in nature and are hugely time consuming to create. Before doing each design Fred studies the object/animal in great detail and sketch many designs before finally drawing then in pen.
Another great thing is that One for The Wall offers a 10% discount on all orders before Christmas, for those who like their Facebook Page.
