Grateful to be the one to share the story of the new TeeHunter website. It all started somewhere in August when a perfect storm got me to meet a nice agency from Athens, Greece which was focused both on self-made-projects (TheGadgetFlow – nice for geeks) and they also worked for clients; they are Cloudie Co. and behind the curtain there was Evan and John.

Thank you so much guys!

We spent every penny TeeHunter has made since we took over and we’ve changed everything. New identity, new logo, new format, better design, mobile responsive since a good % of our audience was checking the site in the mornings via iPhone/Android, most likely while waiting for their coffee and overall I’d say the new TeeHunter is just simpler, cleaner and looks better.

We have four major sections:

  1. Blog – where the magic happens.
  2. Brands – where we showcase the most awesome t-shirt brands, display more information about them and just have a better UI. One of these Brands has sponsored this giveaway in literally 5 minutes after shooting them an email, how awesome are they, hum? You’ll see who we are talking about a few lines later.
  3. T-Shirt Gallery – Better UI, easier to browse for t-shirts and categorize them better. You like red t-shirts? Get ’em. You like t-shirts with a thematic? We also have custom-made collections like Breaking Bad, Clash of clans and more to be added soon..
  4. Community – This is completely new, we fiddled with the idea of having a forum after making the “T-Shirt lovers” group on Facebook where we’ve met a lot of great folks that ended up writing on TeeHunter, providing feedback or working with us one way or another. Shouts to Hamza A., Nick Heazell, Dale Thompson, Nelson Calderara, Dwight Morrison, Benjamin Klempin and many many others.. The forum is still in a BETA, we’d love ideas for topics, we’d love to see activity and buzz over there and just grow it from the inside.

The project started in October and was finished somewhere around late November. We started writing things we want, removing them, altering them and in the end (after a lot of sweating) this is the result.. I got to thank Andreea for watching over the entire process while I was doing what I do best (truth be told, I’m not an editor, I work at a fantastic advertising company and time was very limited).

..and now the part you actually want to read about, we’re giving away a $50 voucher card courtesy of our new sponsor, featured brand page and friends.. Jack of all trades clothing – Thank you Allan!
