I know there are plenty good reasons to head on to H&M or Zara when you find yourself in need of a good t-shirt or tank top, but today I’m giving you 10 reasons not to. I know H&M tees are cheap and that they offer good quality but what if I told you that you can get the same quality (and sometimes even better) for the same money and something else on to of that? Personally, I hate it when I’m going for a walk and meet a lot of people that are wearing the same shirt as I am. It’s a great shirt but we all want to be unique and have our own style. That’s why the t-shirt that we wear represents us and says a lot about ourselves, our personality and the things we like.
A good t-shirt is like a good friend, always there for you helping you out and even start conversations in case you’re a shy guy. For example a couple of weeks ago I ordered two awesome indie brand t-shirts from Redbubble, the “Grow a Beard” and “Destiny – Cave of Endless Loot“. I think you know the reasons why I choose these two indie brand t-shirts, I have a beard and I love Destiny. Even though most of my friends have no idea what Destiny is, the ‘Grow a Beard’ t-shirt got everyone’s attention. Everyone asked me what brand is my tee and where did I get it. All of them were surprised to find out it’s actually an indie brand tee from a clothing company they haven’t even heard of. And the quality is amazing, I never had a tee that was so soft and comfortable to wear.
But lets get back to our indie brand t-shirts and why you should get one. Most of the people say that brand names have become a method to display status but how can a t-shirt that is owned by nearly half the people in your hometown represent an individual? Some also say that brand names also sparkle conversations. But indie brand t-shirts do it better, specially if they’re TV Show or Video Games inspired. It happened more than once to get into a conversation with a random person starting from my ‘Star Wars – That’s no moon‘ tee.
I deviated a little from the subject. I told you I’ll give you 10 reasons to wear indie brand t-shirts so here are my 10 favorite websites to buy awesome tees!
