ExploreGame of Thrones Season 5 is nearing, it is set to air on Sunday, April 5 2015. So just to make it easier to wait there are some things you might want to check out.
First, Game of Thrones will be the first ever TV show to be shown in an IMAX theather. They put out a small teaser for the Game of Thrones experience which starts on January 29th and goes through February 5th. It’s mostly scenes from the final two episodes of season 4 but it ends with a clip of Tyrion from season 5. Check it out here:
And second, much more interesting – There will be a half hour featurette airing on HBO on February 8th at 7:30 PM called A Day in the Life. It’s going to show one day of the filming of Season 5 of the show in three different locations – Dubrovnik in Croatia, Belfast in Northern Ireland, and Sevilla and Osuna in Spain. It’s going to show the main crew members doing what they do best as well as “the epic sets, renowned cast and global scale of Thrones, as well as the more intimate and individual challenges of our subjects, giving the audience a new perspective on one of the most elaborate productions in television history.”
