Top Unanswered Doctor Who Questions

I love Doctor Who, it’s one of my favorite shows of all time, and usually on most episodes there are things that we all just take for granted, like how does a sonic screwdriver do all that work with just one button? But there are some bigger questions that the show posed, but never answered and here’s the top ones.

4. Where did the reapers go?

In the beginning of the new Doctor Who series they wanted to show how bad time paradoxes actually are, so they invented the reapers. When Rose Tyler tries to save her dad they show up and try to destroy everything that was meant to be destroyed. Eventually her dad saves the day by sacrificing himself, but that doesn’t explain why there were no reapers at the other time paradoxes.

3. Weeping statue of liberty

In Angels take Manhattan there’s weeping angels all over New York. One of them even takes the form of the statue of liberty. But how does one of the modern day wonders get all across New York if it can only move when nobody is looking at it?

2. River Song

When the tenth Doctor meets River Song it is the last time for her and the first time for him. She is heartbroken by this, which makes sense since she’s his wife. But it shouldn’t have been unexpected since she says that she knows all of his faces. She should know that the tenth face was going to be her last. And why would she even need all the faces when she only meets two of them? And when did she find out his name?

1. The Doctors daughter

What ever happened to the Doctors daughter? Seven years ago we saw a bunch of army people steal a blood sample from the Doctor, and they made a clone out of it. It wasn’t exactly a replica, it was more like a daughter, but with the same basic abilities. You know, two hearts, regeneration … so after she dies and regenerates, she takes off in a rocket saying that she’s going to explore time and space just like her dad. But we would expect the Doctor to have at least some interest in what happens with another time lord, least of all his daughter, wouldn’t we? Guess we’ll never know. Or maybe it’s a possible spin-off after the Doctor finally goes off the air.
