And Netflix has banked on this unerring principle with several of its many hits, including Orange is the New Black, Marco Polo, and you guessed it: Narcos. Over just two years, it has exploded into a fan favorite, pulling in a fresh 84% on Rotten Tomatoes and nearly ten nominations already. If you are not caught all the way up (and you really need to catch up soon), we won’t give away any spoilers. But with season three just around the corner, get ready for some big changes.
I’m not saying I get high often or anything (*wink*), but I am certainly addicted to Narcos. Between the subtitled suspense and the South American smuggling, I cannot get enough of that show. Plus, you and I are not alone! Everyone seems to be on board, so it is even a perfect conversation topic at Thanksgiving. Don’t you love it when cocaine comes in handy like that.
It will be tough to wait another couple of months (or even a full year!) until the next season, but I might just survive with a tee or two. Grab a few Narcos t-shirts yourself, and don’t forget: the war is not over.
