ExploreWith Agents of Shield‘s fourth season complete, and fans now looking forward to the series’ fifth season, we figured it was time that we showcased some of our awesome Agents of Shield tees.
Shield is the TV show Marvel fans have always wanted. It’s written by Joss Whedon, it’s all about the side characters working behind the scenes to clean up after all the crazy stuff happening in the main Marvel Universe, and it features our dude, Coulson. Phil Coulson runs S.H.I.E.L.D. – the organization founded by Agent Peggy Carter to fight Hydra and ensure the world’s safety against corruption. Only, that isn’t going too well, is it?
In case you haven’t seen Season 4, we won’t spoil it for you, don’t worry. But let’s just say that Shield has been a wild ride from start to finish. The show not only has its own storyline that its working with, and its own set of cool characters, but it also follows the main Marvel storyline featured in its blockbuster films like Thor, Winter Soldier, Civil War and more. From the get-go, the organization has to fight corruption in its midst, battle crazy monsters (aliens? Tomato, to-mah-to), and save the world – all under the radar so the general populace doesn’t freak out.
Shield is definitely one of Marvel’s best for-TV creations in recent years. The show’s is packed with Marvel trademarks. The storyline is sick. Each twist and turn keeps you on the edge of your seat, wondering what happens next. Every single episode is jam-packed with action, character development, and cool Marvel Universe tidbits, including Hydra and parts of the other Marvel show, Inhumans. The characters are well-rounded and feel real, and we’ve got a pretty equal amount of awesome female and male characters to both root for and hate. Just like the main characters, at times you don’t know who to trust. There’s mystery, intrigue, action, and a lot of emotion. What’s not to like?
ABC’s renewing Agents of Shield for a fifth season sometime in early 2018. Can’t wait? Neither can we!
