Countdown to San Diego Comic Con 2017: What to Wear!

by on Jul 11, 2017

We are less than two weeks out from San Diego Comic Con 2017. If you are a cosplayer, you have most likely planned out your costume schedule by now.

But if you are not, you are probably just about now getting around to figuring out what you are going to wear to SDCC. If the Southern California heatwave continues, you may be happy to just wear a T-shirt. Oh, and pants, or shorts, for the love of everything!

But what shirt should you wear? And how can you make sure you’re not wearing the same thing as everybody else. Well, you need to order shirts now! Maybe even have them sent to your hotel. Or, if you’re like me, you have a ton of shirts that you’ve been waiting for this week to wear, and now have to narrow them down to five… or maybe eight if you want to switch out for Thurs-Sat nights.

You may want to wear a shirt to coincide with one of the big movies from this summer. Like Spider-Man:

War of the Planet of the Apes:

Or Wonder Woman:

Or maybe you want to look ahead and wear a Star Wars: The Last Jedi t-shirt:

And when you wear a popular shirt from a TV show like Stranger Things, try to think outside of the Other Side. Or maybe an image that only true fans of the show will get:

And if you’re going to go Game of Thrones, maybe do it with a little more sense of humor…

Mash-ups are always a fun thing to wear to a comic con. From the ridiculous:

To the more ridiculous:

Back to cosplay. If you’d like to do the simplest form of cosplay, you can always do it in t-shirt form. It can be very simply done with a logo t-shirt:

If you want something less revealing:

Or something more encompassing:

So? Got all your shirts selected yet? If not, keep watching this site. You’ll see more fun shirts added on a daily basis.

Enjoy playing dress up whether if it’s at San Diego Comic Con or just your everyday wear!
