27 #Movember T-Shirts That Prove Beards Are Awesome

by on Oct 18, 2017

#Movember, sometimes better known as No-Shave November, is just two weeks away. I’m not a dude, and so I don’t necessarily participate (though I know a lot of women who do), but I live in Portland. Portland is the hipster capital of the United States. We have great coffee, great art, great books, rainy weather, and, of course, we have loads and loads of men who proudly wear their full beards and perfectly groomed handlebar mustaches. It’s pretty fabulous. We were doing No-Shave November year-round before No-Shave November was cool.

Like I said, hipster capital of the U.S. We’re proud of it.

Every November, it seems there are new converts to #noshavelife. Whether they’re trying it out for the aesthetic, seeking to save time and money, or just plain lazy, it’s clear that people have a lot of great reasons not to shave. Besides, it’s just for a month. If you don’t like it, you can always shave it off at the end of November just in time to avoid visiting relatives who might worry that you’ve joined a cult or vacationed in the Pacific Northwest and found your calling as a lumberjack.

Honestly, it’s not a cult thing. It’s not even a lazy thing. It’s just an awesome thing. Beards are cool. That might be the Portland in me talking, but some men just look better with them.

So, whether you’re a long-time #noshavelife-er, or a recent convert, or even just tentatively interested in growing out your facial hair for a month, we’ve got a couple Movember t-shirts that will utterly convince you that the #noshavelife is awesome. Even if you hate hipsters, you can’t say no to these tees.

Besides, there’s a great reason to join the Movember Madness that goes way beyond aesthetics and comfort. Movember is a charity that focuses completely on men’s health issues. On average, men die six years earlier than women. This group is out to change that statistic. They plan to reduce premature death in men by 25% by 2030. By signing up this November and growing out your facial hair, you can actually raise awareness to this issue and inspire donations that may change the face of men’s health forever. That’s something we all can get behind, right?

So, throw out your razors, dispose of your shaving cream, and let it all grow out. Raise some awareness or some funds, and enjoy your sweet new look.

Movember is coming.
