Deadpool is back!
The snarky, foul mouthed superhero who won the hearts of audiences worldwide in the 2016 original is back and ready for battle. Deadpool 2, starring Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin, hits theaters May 18th and will be met with great anticipation. The sequel is no surprise, however, as it was in the works well before the original was released.
The sequel finds the unlikely hero trying to save a young boy from villain Cable (played by Brolin), who has come back from the future to kill the child. Not one to back down from a challenge, Deadpool (played by Reynolds) rounds up a group of fellow superheroes to help him, including a few familiar faces from the last film.
The trailer looks awesome and I for one think this will be as good, if not better, than the original. The good news is that even if this sequel doesn’t quite live up to the hype, Deadpool 3 is already in development.
