Oh, the 1980s:

It was a time of freedom of expression cast against the uncertain scene of Cold War politics. The 1980s was defined by ridiculously big hair, shoulder pads, terrible glamour shots, and awesome music and film. It was the 80s that first gave us Pac-Man and the idea of the personal computer. NASA launched a shuttle in 1981. This was the era that defined us, more than almost any other era.

I mean, The Empire Strikes Back came out in 1980. The Breakfast Club came out just five years later, in 1985. This was the era, too, that we saw music legends like Queen and David Bowie collaborate on fantastic pieces of music like “Under Pressure”.
