Covfefe T-Shirts That’ll Have You Howling With Laughter

Covfefe.

Where were you when Covfefe hit the internet?

It was the tweet heard ’round the world last week, and we’re still talking about it, because nobody knows just what it means. News sites have been plagued with article titles like “What Does ‘Covfefe’ Mean?”, “What’s a ‘Covfefe’?”, “What’s the ‘Covfefe'”, and other such pressing questions. Honestly, all we can do is sit back and be confused, because we have no answers. There are no answers. What is reality? Is any of this really happening?

This is the baffling tweet that started it all, posted at 5AM on Wednesday morning on the President’s official Twitter account:

The tweet was left up for hours before it was finally taken down, but not before Twitter could have a heyday with it. Before long, the world was reading the President’s tweet and all of us were asking the same question: What’s covfefe?

We turned to the President for answers, and all he gave us was this:

It looks like Donald Trump isn’t going to be explaining himself any time soon. Maybe that’s okay. The internet hasn’t had such a fun controversy since the Blue-Black/White-Gold Dress of 2015. It’s the stuff of memes, the stuff of legends, the stuff of internet history. What is Covfefe? We have no idea. We just know it’s hilarious, and we’ll probably be talking about it for months to come.

It’s been a whole week, and the world still hasn’t come to a consensus on the true meaning of ‘covfefe’, or even on the correct pronunciation. While it already has several questionable but amusing definitions on Urban Dictionary, not even Merriam Webster itself knows what’s going on.

Regardless of whether or not you think covfefe is a tentacle monster, a hot caffeinated beverage, or a weird typo having to do with reporters, you have to admit that the controversy surrounding the President’s latest tweet is one that no one will likely forget. It’s a crazy age we live in. This never would have happened without the internet, and I can’t help but wonder whether or not this is the kind of thing that’ll grace the pages of tomorrow’s history textbooks.

At TeeHunter, we like to commemorate events like this with, of course, t-shirts. Covfefe was practically made to go on a t-shirt. Since Trump first tweeted about it last week, we’ve been catching all sorts of covfefe t-shirts that have surfaced that’ll have you howling with laughter, regardless of how you feel about the President himself.

It looks like Covfefe, at least for now, is here to stay.
