The Miscito idea was born about 10 years ago although Carlos, the brand owner, just launched the site in January 2014.
The brand is a tribute to the Miscito legend and to his children who have influenced Carlos to become more active in issues concerning children and more specifically, the worldwide problem of malaria. When he created the concept, he wasn’t married, didn’t have children and had a lot more free time than he does today.
All that been said, they begun their journey with 4 limited edition t-shirts, original and quirky and all feature distinct interpretations of our Miscito hero. There is The Legend, The Rebel, The Hero and The Queen, in that exact order.

Today Miscito is a brand with a powerful message. While they are dedicated to creating quality clothing, they are here to make more than just a fashion statement. They want Miscito kids to understand that the brand is about relevancy. It is about the world they live in. And it’s about how we are all inseparably connected, for better or for worse.
Their goal is to create a stylish brand that transcends time and trends. They believe that children’s clothing should be timeless. In this throwaway society it’s too easy to buy cheap and disposable outfits for a handful of uses; Miscito wants their brand to stick.
