Linden Forest – Animals expressed through drawings

by on Apr 10, 2014

The Linden Forest is the brainchild of its artist, Philip Smith. All of his artistic inspiration comes from his childhood home, which was located deep in the woods. Often at night he would hear raccoons or possums and during the day would encounter a variety of different animals. His memories of these animals are expressed through his drawings. He does not do any rough drafts because an original captures that much more feeling.

Philip’s background is in music and has also done t-shirt designs for many popular bands including his most recent collaboration with Switch foot.

The artwork is highly detailed. In many cases, pictures just don’t do them justice. They DTG all of our prints in house, which not only let them capture the detail of the art but provides a nice and clean finish while also being environmentally friendly.

Phillip works with a Screen-printing/DTG operation out of Philadelphia called Top Banana Screen Printing. The Linden Forest is a collaborative effort between the printing business and the artist.

The images on the shirt are identical to their original, pen & ink versions and the shirts they use are made of 100% cotton and provide a tapered fit.
