Sotare – A New Beginning

Welcome to the magical little world of Sotare. This is an adventure. Sotare is an experience like no other. There are stories to be told, exciting limited edition art for you to own, hand made collectables, and top notch clothes to wear. The word “Sotare” comes from a Greek word meaning Savior, a calling for the creative hero in all of us.

Their logo, a jumping kangaroo is about progress, eternally leaping forward into the unknown, creating the map others will follow. Adrian Black, owner of Sotare told us a little something about his brand and how it came to life. It started back in 2007 but it was a short lived dream and went on hiatus in 2009. In early 2013 Adrian dusted off Sotare and after a few months of careful planning he brought it back to life creating an entire world for Sotare.

The goal is to create and release unique products the first week of each month.  Apart from shirts Sotare has released their first belt, a paper toy, two posters, buttons, wristbands, key chains, and stickers.  When they are at vendor markets they have some exclusive items for sale including such items as painted canvases. And this year in June they’ll release their first resin toy, hand sculpted, hand cast and hand painted. But be careful, only 5 of them will be available so keep your eyes open and don’t miss your chance to get your hands on this collectible.
Currently, Sotare has released three shirts- “A New Beginning”, “Patterns”, and “Joey‘s Dreamland“.  Each of these shirts tell part of a larger story, the journey of the brand.  A few more shirts will be released later this year, as well as some special bundles and deals!
