ExploreNow that the Big Bang Theory is on a break for two weeks I started thinking what was really so funny about it. It doesn’t really have the typical jokes of How I met your mother. It’s more like it thrives in the awkward situations, or rather situations made awkward by a bunch of guys who while above averagely academic, they have less street smarts than their not too bright neighbour Penny with whom they interact on a daily basis.
It’s shown kinda perfectly in the very first episode, where Leonard and Sheldon try to enter a building, and they can’t figure it out »with their combined IQ of 360, after which a bunch of little girls selling cookies enter by pressing all the doorbells at the same time.
It is also made funny by the genius that is Sheldon Cooper. Even though his behavior is borderline autistic, he is usually the smartest person in the room, which allows the show to come up with some pretty hilarious moments, when Sheldon says the most inappropriate thing at the wrong time.
Anyway, I was missing the Big Bang Theory this week, so I decided to find some Big Bang Theory t-shirts for you.
