There is a place on the internet called Deviant Art. It’s where all the cool new generation artists show off their skills. Among many amazing artists there is this guy: SevenThirtyTwo.
He is basically a fan of DC comics and has made some amazing conceptual designs for hoodies. Seriously amazing. Here, take a look if you don’t believe me:
There’s only one problem though. He sent his concepts to Warner Bros. who own most of the iconographic design, and they said they would look at it and get back to him if they decided to use them. That was months ago, so someone probably sent out a half generic reply, and deleted the message without really looking at it. I can understand that, they probably have tons of people asking them to look at things.
The problem now is this though – the artist who made them seems to be pretty pessimistic about anybody ever making these. He’s not against it though, so we here at teehunter.com think that maybe his work just needs to be seen by the right person. And on that thought, here’s a few more designs:
I’ve checked his journal, and he has posted his e-mail address for any potential offers. He has asked for this to be used only for serious questions, offers or advice, so please don’t bother him with anything else. Since his art is very popular and nobody can get it, it’s understandable that he is a little annoyed by being asked the same questions 50 times a day. But since we have quite a long reach here at teehunter.com I will quote this from his page, and hope it reaches the right person.
“themainbusb@gmail.com – this is my email address. This is meant for those who have any serious inquiries, questions, advice, offers, or whatever. I repeat – serious. For those who feel the urge to send an email asking where I sell merchandise or for how much or anything of the sort, please refer to the FAQ. I’m going to do my best to hurt your feelings if you send me anything that has already been addressed there.”
I’ll ask again – Why isn’t anybody making these hoodies?! Someone make it happen, fast!
