I have analyzed and tried to determine consistency in concluding the best of the best heroes in DotA 2 (yes! I have searched on forums and DotA 2 wiki). And so here I am, ready to tell you something you are here for and make sure that next time you select a hero, you are well aware of DotA 2 heroes that are topping the charts.
DotA 2 players will understand!
Pudge – might be the most boring hero of DotA 2 but still he is the most common hero used by DotA players. Having a winning rate of 49.30% Pudge is the most probable choice of players. His signature ability is “Meat Hook” which demands both precision and correct timing, dragging back his enemy to him. To add more, he has that exclusive “Flesh Heap” power which provide him increased armor against the enemies.
Juggernaut – with a winning rate of 54.15% he is topping the charts and has replaced Pudge quite a few times in rankings. He is an agility hero with immense powers of sprinting towards the enemy and become ever devastating with his multiple sharp blades.
Invoker – he is a range intelligence hero and is considered difficult to master due to his large range of around 14 exclusive powers. Some of his notable powers are Exort, Wex and Quas.
Sniper – with a winning rate of 51.20% he is also the most probable choice of DotA players. With abilities like head shot, take aim and shrapnel, he is lethal for his enemies.
Techies – he falls under ranged intelligence heroes and is known for laying deadly traps with the help of mines and suicide attacks in which they explode causing immense damage to the opposition.
Axe – a “strength hero” known for taunting his enemies and then fighting back furiously with counter helix that slashes all enemies in a single strike. He is infamous for creating panic in a battle.
Phantom Assassin – popular in causing immense damage in single strikes. Her exclusive phantom strike ability enables her to initiate and escape cleverly. She ranks 7th in the best of the best DotA 2 heroes with a winning rate of 49.56% to the present date.
Slark – he is an agility hero known best for lashing at enemies heroes with some of the fastest speeds and hinder their escape completely. He can also steal attributes and remain undiscovered for a short time with abilities like ultimate and shadow dance.
Riki – he is a stealth assassin. With abilities like permanent invisibility he can hide and surprise his enemies with a brutal stealth kill. For most of the DotA players who like sneaking around with enemy heroes, Riki is the best choice.
Mirana – she is an agility hero known for surprising and chasing her enemies till they die. Her trademark ability include “sacared arrow” which stuns her opponents with high precision. She is been nick named as huntress by some of the diehard DotA 2 players.
