ExploreThe Cookies -N- Cream Summer 2011 Collection, titled “Popular is Popular”. “This season, we drew our inspiration from pop culture and the first ever museum show of American Pop Art – New Paintings of Common Objects,” say the brand. The show featured the works of now legendary artists – Roy Lichtenstein, Jim Dine, Andy Warhol, Phillip Hefferton, Robert Dowd, Edward Ruscha, Joe Goode and Wayne Thiebaud. The brand looked to this as inspiration for the Summer 2011 pieces and created designs based on the style of the artists involved in the show.
