The world needs heroes, or in this case, more Overwatch t-shirts. While searching for some tees for Blizzard’s upcoming team-based shooter, Overwatch, I found out there really aren’t that many out there. Sure, Blizzard has a few of its own Overwatch t-shirts, but to be honest, they look kind of simple and dull. Good thing Redbubble has a few designs uploaded by its international artists, and they look a bit better than the ones from the Blizzard store. I know these aren’t officially licensed, but I’d still wear them while playing the game.
Blizzard knows how to make cinematic trailers, that’s a fact. Just watch the video above, it’ll surely make you want to play the game. Overwatch was born from the wreckage of Blizzard’s MMO game codenamed Titan and inspired by the surprise hit Heartstone. The game is set in a futuristic Earth that faces a global crisis after the Overwatch, the United Nations standing peace force was disbanded. Now, some of the heroes want to get the group back together, and you can see that in one map that has as your main objective trying to launch a satellite into space.
The beta version of the game allowed you pick one of the 18 characters, each with different weapons, skills and playing styles, but rumur has it there will be 21 characters by the game hits the stores in the Spring of 2016. In each match one team attacks and the other one defends. You’ll either be capturing/defending objectives or attacking/protecting a payload.
