If Cats Ran Hollywood: Films Re-Imagined for Cats

by on Jan 26, 2016

Hollywood loves to re-imagine and reboot movies and television shows. The Internet loves cats. So what would happen if our feline friends were green lighting projects in Hollywood?

Doctor Meow

Unfortunately, not longer available.

This cat has more than nine lives! The current is played by Peter(Ca)bald(i) (It’s a type for cat. Yeah, I had to look it up, too.) Every day is an adventure in space and time, especially when The Master is away. Armed with only a sonic scratching post, Doctor Meow fights an array of adorable, but dangerous, enemies (as well as that mysterious red dot that keeps appearing out of nowhere). Allons kittY!

Les Mewsérables

Meow Val Meow was just released from prison for stealing vittles. But this sad kitty’s troubles are just beginning. Featuring the classic songs: (Don’t You Forget I’m) Master of the House, I Dreamed a Dream (of a World Without Dogs) and Do You Hear the Kittens Meow?

Batcat

Millionaire orphan cat, Puss Wayne, dresses up as a bat at night to protect the city from a gallery or outrageous villains: The Purrer, The Licker and Catwoman (of course she’d remained unchanged). Because he’s the feline we deserve…

Space Cats

Unfortunately

With the recent success of space movies, it’s certain that if cats ran Hollywood, they’d produce a steady stream of sci-fi epics. Gravi-kitty is a re-imagining of the Sandra Bullock classic… granted it’s just 90 minutes of cats floating around space in zero gravity… but they’re so darn cute! Also lined-up: Star Paws: The Force That Awakes You Too Early In The Morning, The Meowtian, and Meow Max: Furry Road… just because.

Hairy Potter

CatsUnfortunately no longer available

Orphaned Kitty, Hairy Potter, discovers he is actually a wizard, and possibly the chosen one (though all cats think they’re the chosen one). But he and his kitty wizard friends will have to face the evil Voldemouse and his army of rats. Problem is, these furry wizards would rather spend all day playing with the tassels on their house scarfs.
