ExploreWell, it’s the least wonderful time of the year. Tax season. By now, you’ve all filed or asked for extensions. If you’re like me, you procrastinate until the last minute. I applaud those who have their taxes ready to go on January 1st, but feel more connected to those who are in line at the post office on April 15th (or in the case of this year, April 18th).
Regardless of when you file, what follows is one of two things. The dread of having to pay out some more money to the government. Or the joy of learning you’re going to receive a refund. And that joy is usually equivalent to how large of a refund you’re expecting.
And unless your accountant from the national tax experts bbb suggests you put it towards next year’s taxes (which is just being mean, now isn’t it?), you may soon have a little extra money on your hands. So what to do with it? Why not indulge on some very cool shirts!
Maybe it’s time to get that Batman shirt. You know, not the one you want, but the one you DESERVE!
Or something that may get a little more attention:
I believe the saying goes, “All men must die and pay taxes.” Or something like that. But both men and women will be happy to indulge in a funny Game of Thrones shirt.
And, if you DIDN’T get a refund, and want to buy a Game of Thrones shirt anyhow. Well:
If there has also been an awakening in your bank account, you may want to put it towards a Force Awakens shirt. I know BB-8 would approve.
And it doesn’t get any more awesome than Kylo Ren stopping a laser bolt in mid-air. I bet that IS the shirt you’re looking for.
And now that April is more that half behind us, we can start looking ahead to May. And the beginning of summer blockbuster season. So you may see it as your civic duty to spend your refund on a Captain America Civil War shirt that you’ll wear to opening day of the movie.
