As the old song says, it’s Summertime and the living’s easy! The days are getting longer. Schools are out for summer or forever. Work vacations are being planned. Pools are open. Beaches are getting crowded. Grills are being cleaned and readied for action. The next three months will be filled with fun in the sun.
And in order to look cool when the temperatures rise, I’ve dug up some great shirts. These will help you be the center of attention for your favorite summer activity.
For many, summer is the time to fire up the grill and do some barbecuing. Some people are natural born grillas. Take pride in it.
Just grab some grub and chill in the hot sun. But keep your shirt on so you don’t get a sun burn.
Save room for dessert. I know, there’s always room for ice cream! Pick your favorite flavor. Mine’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle!
There’s nothing like spending time at the pool. But don’t forget to bring things to float on.
The seaside is another great place to hang out during the summer. Butalways obey all the rules of your local beach.
And people of all ages love to build sandcastles at your friendly, neighborhood beach.
Don’t forget to pack some drinks and snacks. Show other beach goers that you’re a little cooler than they are.
Surf’s Up! This shirt will have your fellow surfers in stitches…
Or maybe a lake is more your Summer speed.
If you’re younger, Summer Camp can be a great treat. And older kids can go on to get jobs at camps so they can keep the fun going. Don’t forget to show off your camp pride.
There’s nothing like a leisurely summer bike ride. Don’t forget to wear the proper safety gear.
That way you can do some sick tricks.
The official sport of summer is baseball. Take in a professional game or two. Maybe organize a team in your neighborhood. Or at least head out to the batting cages.
Maybe the biggest event of your summer is Shark Week. For some, that is the most wonderful time of the year.
Whatever you do these next few months, here’s hoping you have an endless summer….
