Star-Lord’s Awesome Mix Vol. 1 T-Shirt

Meredith Quill put together a mix tape she titled "Awesome Mix Vol. 1" so her son Peter could know all the songs she used to listen to when she was growing up. In 1988, Meredith was dying from cancer, and gave him a second tape as a gift moments before she died. However, Peter never opened the gift. After the Ravagers abducted him, the Awesome Mix Tape Vol. 1 was one of Peter's few mementos from Earth, and he kept it with him into adulthood. He finally opened his mother's gift, Awesome Mix Vol. 2, after he and the other Guardians of the Galaxy saved Xandar from the mad Kree Ronan.
