It seems that my summers are always made up of me getting to know a new game franchise. One summer, it was Legend of Zelda. Another, it was Elder Scrolls. One summer, when most people my age were out soaking up some rays, I was spending a few vampiric months indoors, virtually assassinating people.

Assassin’s Creed is one of those Ubisoft games that just keeps getting better and better. Each game is an improvement upon the last, with new places to explore, new gameplay techniques, new characters to meet and new mysteries to unravel. It might not be the most die-hard stealth series on the market, but, I mean, it’s a little bit fun to go in, guns blazing, and just wreck stuff. There’s something to be said for Ubisoft giving us the option of just how stealthy we want to be.
