Doctor Who was the first television programme I got hooked on and is is probably the most imaginative show ever created. And I ask myself, is there any stopping the Doctor? My answer is no.
The best part about Doctor Who is that instead of choosing the normal protagonist, like an Indiana Jones or Luke Skywalker or Mal Reynolds type, the creators of the show chose to create this old alien named “The Doctor”, who goes around the Universe in a Police Box. He’s got a screwdriver to fix things, instead of a gun to shoot things. He’s the hero we all need. He gets by on wits instead of brawn. It’s great.
The crazy thing? For the first time in the show’s history, it’s been announced that we finally have a female Doctor.
