Let’s face it, we’ve got Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Joker, Harley Quinn, the Justice League… basically, some of the most iconic superheroes and supervillains ever to grace comic books and the Big Screen. The Universe began in 1934, founded by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson, and it’s had hundreds of successes since then. DC’s characters are over-the-top, yet still completely relateable, and they always act as heroes ought to. The message of the DC Universe is that literally anyone can be a hero. Even the smallest, most seemingly average people can rise to greatness. That’s a message we all can get behind.
