Top Star Wars Shirts: Countdown to The Last Jedi

by on Dec 04, 2017

December is here! And you know what that means. No, not a visit from that jolly guy in the red suit, but a new Star Wars movie! For the past three years, December has been the time to return to a galaxy far, far away. And though starting next year, with Solo a Star Wars Story, we’re back to May releases (which will make May the Fourth even more festive), we still get one more December Star Wars: The Last Jedi!

If you’re as crazy as I am, you altered your advent calendar for December 15th. Or, if you’re even crazier, you got tickets to a late night viewing on the 14th. At least in LA, those 14th showings aren’t that late anymore, my tickets are for 8pm.

We all have our own little rituals on how to get ready for the new Star Wars movie. They’ve become almost as ritualistic as holiday traditions. And in some cases are usurping them. (Well, for me at least.)

All those great Holiday specials on TV will take a back seat as I rewatch the other 8 movies. Or at the least, I’ve got tofit in a viewing of The Force Awakens. But if time allows, I will try to watch the original trilogy as well.

Christmas Carols may be playing streaming in my house, but it’s more likely that I’ll be listening to various Star Wars soundtracks and playlists from now until I see The Last Jedi. And after that, the tables will begin to turn, and more holiday song will fill the air around me. Until the 25th… because The Last Jedi soundtrack is on my list to Santa!

And no time for Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol, I’ve fallen behind on reading the new Star Wars comics from Marvel. The new series takes place after A New Hope is pure classic Star Wars fun. I know there are some novels that take place between the former and newer movie, but I don’t think I’ll get a chance to read them. How about you?

I know I have Christmas shopping to do, but Star Wars holiday shopping is the priority for me at this time of year. And I’m sure images of laser blasts and lightsabers are dancing around your head, too. So I went a-hunting and found the Top 25 Star Wars T-Shirts. Though the run the gambit of the Star Wars universe, they do heavily pull from the original trilogy. Because if it wasn’t for that, we wouldn’t be counting the days to The Last Jedi. Would we?
